Enugu Ranger's Chukwu says we will surprise Zamalek in Egypt.

The Flying Antelopes’ top shot has asserted his side are in Cairo to ensure that they return home with a good result.

Enugu Rangers’ general manager, Christian Chukwu reveals that the Nigerian champions are going to Egypt to surprise their CAF Champions League first round, first leg foes, Zamalek SC on Sunday.

The Flying Antelopes will leave for Cairo on Thursday ahead of the encounter on Sunday and Chukwu disclosed that they are on a mission to Egypt to render their opponents powerless and secure a good result that will brighten their chances of qualifying for the group stages of the continent's elite competition.

“We are on a mission to Egypt to surprise our hosts," Chukwu told Goal.

"We know it won’t be easy but we are going there to get a result and we have mapped out our strategies to ensure that Zamalek didn’t catch us unawares.

"We want to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League and we do not want Zamalek to stand in our ways,” Chukwu told Goal.

Rangers saw off Algeria's JS Saoura in the preliminary round of the competition on away goal rule and they will hit the group stage if they defeat the White Knights after the two-legged tie.
